Teachers day

On Sept 5 my class and I along with the student council of our school hosted a teachers day event. It took us about 3 days to plan and execute the event. For this event, we divided ourselves into groups and we took over certain aspects of the event. The events we shortlisted were speeches, a dance, a song and a few games for teachers. I was in charge of the speeches and those who were talented with dance were taking care of it. But due to the lack of people, we decided that some of us had to volunteer to sing. I had volunteered for singing and it was a very new experience for me as I have never sung in public before, this was a considerable risk that I was venturing into

I was very happy with how my speech went and as public speaking is more talent for me I really enjoyed it


One of the biggest problems that we faced was time management. we had three days to execute the whole plan into action our problem was that we didn't know when to do what and how long practice for each one should take. This was very evident with the dance. We took a long time for the dance but let the other aspects such sticking the charts or preparing the games. one element that we must work on further for upcoming events is the that we need to be more balanced in what activities we have as well as managing time.

Though we had a lot of downfalls and problems the teachers enjoyed the event it was great
