playing tactile based games with the differently abled kids.
For this CAS activity, my classmates and I played a bunch of tactile based games aimed at improving their moment, touch and hand-eye coordination. For this the games I played with the child I was working with was sand based games and candle based games which require concentration and the use of the hand-eye coordination. I thoroughly enjoyed this activity as it was really new to me, the child I was working with also enjoyed the activity as it was a form of a break from the coloring and the other such activities that we do with them.
The activity was very important for me as a student as it gave me further insight in understanding that differently -abled kids aren't any different from the rest of us, that they have the same emotions, thoughts, wishes, feelings. This was an important realization for me as for a long time I was afraid that I would react in an adverse manner which would affect the kids but I realized that children are very normal and that all they need is love and nurturing as everyone else in the world wants. This activity was an eye-opener and experience which will last me forever.
