100 days of running
On the 29th of April, i took up the 100 days of running challenge. This consisted of running at least 2kms every day for 100 days straight without stopping. The challenge started on the 29th of April up till Aug 6th. It was a very long and hard challenge but at the same time, I enjoyed the challenge.
I initially took up the challenge with no thought, I had the arrogant idea that it would be easy as I have been running for a long time initially the first week was fine but after that my body couldn't handle running every day, I was very tired. But through continuously forcing myself I started enjoying the runs, I started running it faster. when I started the running the challenge my time for 2km was 10mins and 2 sec by the end my fastest speed was 7min 45. As days moved on I started using the run as a way to let go of stress and energize myself.
through the runs i realized that i didn't do anything different in the run the only thing I did was simply push myself out of my comfort zone and to explore new categories of running, with this experience of pushing until the end I am now interested in pushing this to new events like swimming, because I have realized that one can not grow without pushing himself out of his comfort zone..
below I have attached the final data log.
